Karie Reynolds has used her finely-honed experience in public relations and brand-building, to help take businesses to their next level. Beginning in the non-profit sector, Karie developed a specialization in managing fundraising campaigns, with a focus on special events. Her efforts in sponsorship solicitation, promotional material creation, event planning and budget management served her well as she moved into the for-profit PR arena with projects for the California Market Center, MGM Consumer Products, Stride Rite, the Paseo Colorado retail complex in Pasadena, CA, and more.
Beginning in 2001, Karie put her considerable PR experience into creating a niche in the burgeoning “Mom & Baby” space. Her trademarked, highly-individualized media campaigns, and successes on behalf of a variety of children’s apparel and juvenile products led to the formation of Grand Avenue Baby in 2006. Offering an integrated, strategic point-of-view on celebrity outreach and media relations, Grand Avenue Baby quickly grew to become the go-to resource for top-tier manufacturers of products for children and families, and tastemakers across the country.
In order to return to the direct client collaboration she prizes most, Karie launched Reynolds Communications in 2011, serving the full-spectrum of businesses from NPOs to private companies both large and small.
Karie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), and currently lives in South Pasadena, California, with her husband and two daughters.
