Meet Karie Reynolds

Hi, I’m Karie

Throughout my career, I’ve been the person people bring in when they have an opportunity, an idea, or a challenge—and need someone to make it happen.

The projects I’ve enjoyed most, and the ones I’m most proud of, have all started the same way:

“We have a great idea. Now what?”

That’s where I do my best work.

I help organizations answer the questions that come before execution:

What are we building? Who needs to be involved? How do we organize the work? And how do we get everyone moving in the same direction?

I bring structure to complexity by developing strategy, aligning stakeholders, creating partnerships, designing programs, and building the framework that turns ideas into action. Once that foundation is in place, I help bring the vision to life through communications that build understanding, create momentum, and inspire people to act.

My career has always centered on building something new. I began at New Horizons Learning Centers, where I was selected early in my career to create and implement the company’s first national accounts program for General Motors. That experience taught me the importance of building alignment across different stakeholders, creating scalable systems, and turning opportunities into successful programs.

From there, I moved into nonprofit special events fundraising, developing the skills to build relationships, engage supporters, and create experiences that bring people together. I later transitioned into public relations and communications, where I combined those skills with strategic storytelling and brand positioning.

That combination of experiences became the foundation for the work I do today. It enabled me to launch Pregnancy Awareness Month, transforming an initial concept into a national education campaign; produce a professional development conference for entrepreneurial women; build brands for emerging companies; guide organizations through change; and develop initiatives that connect people around a shared purpose.

For more than three decades, I’ve worked across public relations, marketing, fundraising, events, community engagement, and brand strategy. The common thread has never been a single discipline—it’s been my ability to see the bigger picture, connect the right people, and create a practical path from concept to execution.

Clients and colleagues know me as a thoughtful strategist, trusted advisor, and connector who brings calm to complexity. I’m naturally curious, an attentive listener, and someone who looks for connections others may miss. I ask the questions that clarify the opportunity, uncover what’s needed to move forward, and build the relationships that help initiatives succeed.

I’m also deeply committed to the communities I serve. Based in South Pasadena, I currently serve as Chair of the South Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, Publicity Chair for the South Pasadena Tournament of Roses Committee, and a board member of the South Pasadena Senior Citizens’ Foundation.

Whether I’m helping a business grow, supporting a nonprofit mission, or bringing a community initiative to life, I’m motivated by the same goal:

Helping organizations make important things happen.

Because in the end, my role isn’t just to help organizations tell their story.

It’s to help them build something worth talking about.
